It was a special performance by the Panthers and a somewhat respectable showing from us. At least we know what we're up against now rather than getting blasted like we did last year against the Storm.

Wheel, there were 18 points between us on Saturday night.  I've been to Penrith Park when Penrith have put 70 on us.  That's a flogging.  I've been following the Sea Eagles since the 60s and been to most of their matches, and no, Saturday night was no flogging.  We were outclassed sure enough, and well beaten, but not disgraced.  As I said if Tony had of banged over the goal then we would have been 24 - 30, and not conceded the intercept, just one converted try away from leveling.  It wasn't all as bad as a lot of the newbies think.  I'm quite critical of the team on occasions as you know, but on Saturday night it wasn't all terrible.  The pack needs to man up, Choc to stay of the grog and get Lyon back to stiffen up the centres.     

That's the worst logic I've ever witnessed.

Still the same mate, just call it as i see it, just that those times were probably diabolically bad, as much as people try to make these times sound like the sky is falling in on then club, it is not even close to what we used to endure

The is one positive from Friday night....I was over at Stradbroke Island (Straddie) and the house we rented had a broken down TV, so I enjoyed a football free night (or at least my wife did) and didn't find out the score until my Panthers loving son in law sent me a text....as soon as it arrived (and without even opening it) I knew we had lost, so I didn't even bother reading it until the next morning!!
