SOME mid-season facts about the Sea Eagles in 2017:

● Manly have scored 54 tries from 13 games – equal top with the Sydney Roosters, who have played one more game.

● Ten players – Dylan Walker, Brian Kelly, Blake Green, Daly Cherry-Evans, Brenton Lawrence, Frank Winterstein, Curtis Sironen, Apisai Koroisau, Lewis Brown and Jake Trbojevic have played in all 13 games.

● Akuila Uate with nine tries in 12 games is the top try scorer.

● Manly have had trouble all season kicking goals, but in atrocious conditions last week Matthew Wright (three from three) in NRL and Jackson Hastings (five from five) in Intrust Cup returned 100 per cent displays.

● Manly are turning the halfway mark of the premiership on 20 points – the total number tallied in the entire 2016 season

Except Round 15 is not the halfway mark, Round 13 would be half way.
Still a great improvement though.

The most important stat imo is the 10 players in 13 rounds. If we can replicate that for the second half of the comp we're in with a shot.

Agree. Teams who win comps generally have stable line ups and use low numbers of players throughout the season. Not saying we will win the comp this year but this is a good sign, particularly after the injury woes of the past few years.
