NRL360 Tonight

They spoke a fair bit of common sense.

They touched on

1. Letting DCE go
2. Marty under performing
3. The way Jake is used as halve back and not getting any decorum metres as a middle forward.
4. The way manly are playing is similar to the way the Bulldogs were playing under Des.
5. No cohesion in defence.
6. The team looks over coached
7. Bringing in Paul Green
8. Des doesn’t seem up to coaching the modern game
9. We don’t have 17 players up to NRL standard,
10. Announcement of contract extension for Des, then two weeks later saying he needs help.

Hard to argue with any of their points, their points are relative to what is happening.

For those of us who don't get NRL360, thank you for the info.

Can you please elaborate on Paul Green, or was it just mentioned as a possibility and left at that?

They spoke that Des and Green are both managed by George Mimis, mentioned they couldn’t see Des and Green working together.

Of note Hooper said Schuster needs to play 6 and going into this season without a recognised number 9.

But it was basically what has been said on this forum,no inside knowledge or anything nobody already knew.Which says to me that 1)these particular journos have no idea(which is no big surprise and 2)the club has built a wall around itself, whether the team is going well or not,and doesn’t like anything getting out.As the saying goes, any publicity is good publicity. The club needs to embrace the media more, whether that’s the print, digital or social media.Look at the Broncos last year, they were dreadful, but they were never out of the spotlight, which gives their sponsors so much exposure. They may not be the perfect example due to their popularity and advantages but I could say the same about the Roosters, they’re always in the spotlight because their chairman knows how to pull strings and work the media.

Definitely what they discussed has been highlighted by Silvertails members.

The benefit of these guys discussing it gets others attention, hopefully a few of our front office personnel watched it along with Des and the players.

I am not sure on that, however the media getting it out there even if it’s right or wrong it grabs people’s attention.

Seriously isn't that we have been saying for weeks? Come on tell us you names on this site, who's Roth and who's Hoops!

They all seem to follow the same narrative that our cap is so out of whack because of DCE, Turbo and Jake. Have a look at Newcastle Ponga 1mil, Pearce 900K, Klemmer, Frizell, Best, all on big money, but no one ever says Knights cap is out of whack. Every team more or less has about 4 massive contracts and the rest are adjusted around them. Obviously Roosters and Storm. Titans have Ash Taylor on 1mil, David Fafita, Proctor, Tino Fmaway, Wallace and now Brimson will be looking for an upgrade. Why do they think Manly is so different? I know DCE gets 200k more than some of the marquee players but surely 200k is not causing all these so called cap imbalances. My guess is that we pay too much for the rubbish players.

James Hooper and Phil Rothfield about to discuss “Manly’s Struggles”
This will be very interesting given Rothfield’s “sources” and Hooper knows about as much about the inner sanctum of Manly as most men know what goes on in a woman’s head
Well if you can explain why a pizza is made round, packed in a square box & eaten in triangles then you’ll understand women lolololol.
