now hats off the Mr Markie for doing a job but what is really getting to me is the space between the rules and what they use for advertising.

Every clip on Facebook shows the big hits even some of the cheap shots, yet they keep trying to make it softer, even looking back through the various campaigns time and time again you see close to fights dodgy hits and big impacts. Now they can't have it both ways but I hope they lean back towards the tough stuff

It's a blood sport that they are flogging.:punch:

But the Personal injury & Compensation Lawyers have them misdirect the Mums' attention with their forked tongues

Similar to Betting Agencies excitedly spruiking exotic bets, then whispering 'Gamble Responsibly' 😕

All the media around the game is hypocritical. I caught a snippet of Matty Johns show a week or two ago and they were acting out a 'comedy' sketch in which, as civilians not players, they bashed the crap out of one of them for some trivial reason, including laying the boot in to a prone bloke on the ground. The joke was that of course real men will physically bash people, even their mates, it's what real blokes do (just not women, oh noo).
Meanwhile Fifita is banned for supporting the one-punch killer, Slater is lauded for punching a civilian in England, the Battle of Brookvale is replayed to promote each Manly-Storm clash.

Seems that money is at the bottom off all this somehow. The more that things change the more they seem to stay the same.
