THIS time last year James Roberts triggered a chain of movement in the backline when he left the Gold Coast for Brisbane.

His move impacted several NRL teams and big name players but ahead of season 2017 it’s all about the big men.

While the off-season player merry-go-round is yet to launch into a tail spin, several transfers have already taken place to set up the forward movement.

Gold Coast, Newcastle, Parramatta, North Queensland and Cronulla are still shy a prop in next seasons rosters.

This week Knights traded outside back Jake Mamo for Huddersfield centre/backrower Joe Wardle as they move to complete their roster for next season.

The Knights are still in the market for an outside back if Cowboys youngster Kalyn Ponga can’t secure an early release and an experienced forward.

But they aren’t the only ones chasing some size up front.
