So after Illawarra commit these lockdown problems and 8 or more players fined and sat out....the NRL does a 360 and apparently they are allowing opposition players from South's and NZ to sign 3 week contracts to help fill in for missing players.....I thought this rule was designed to help teams with serious injury issues...but seems a way to reward a team....maybe we have JetSki commit an off field offence and we sign Taumolo during his absence....
Surely the most ludicrous way of punishing a side who has totally disrespected the games integrity...maybe it's just a stitchup and I'm misunderstanding this story....well I hope I am.
And what a circus the game becomes....a player is at South's till round 16, joins St Illawarra for 3 weeks, then comes back to NZ....it's bizarre and yet another dud NRL call if true, the breach should be an opportunity for their NSW Cup players to step up and the blokes who done the wrong thing, pay the price and sit out.

True. Although didn't we once ship Kevin Ward over from England just to play in the grand final?

We did, it he played a massive part in Manly getting there the same season, not for another NRL team so no problem him coming back.
If for example Crusher Cleal was outed by the NRL for an off field offence and we signed Brad Clyde for 1 game, would be great for Manly but I would have the same opinion of a dud call.

If you do a 360 you end up in the same direction.
No wonder I often can't find my way home on a saturday night....

Ithink you are referring to Sua from the bunnies, he doesnt go there till next year, unless there was someone I missed, plus they didnt do that for the dogs did they. Oh yes George Burgess, but he is coming back from overseas but I get your drift, its wrong

It is obvious the NRL are doing everything they can to keep the comp going regardless of the truth. They are just digging a deeper hole trying to cover up people outside the "bubble" being at the barbie but does anyone have the guts to expose it? I doubt it.
The NRL should have made the Dragoons come up with a team for 2 games or forfeit them, but it's all about broadcast money and the game will never be in the right hands while that is the prime mover.
PVD has failed his audition.

Again, extrodinary times and we need them to be able to fill a team.

If you are worried about Tanua-Brown tipping the scales in their favour then worry not.

G Burgess is a free agent so no worrys there

And after they sacked Vaughan they have a spot in their 30
