Thought i'd start a thread on tips and bets for the footy, seeing as many of us are in tipping comps and enjoy the odd punt.

There is what i've gone with this week.

i've got 2 multis.

I've gone with

warriors 13+
broncos 13+
Penrith -3.5
Cowboys hd2hd
Dragons 13+

and

Panthers -3.5

Too scared to bet on the Manly game, don't have a good record up in Newcastle, so i decided to stay out of that one.

Not directly on topic sorry - but does anyone know the opening prices for all the clubs in premiership betting? I was curious because so many of the teams at the bottom were quite fancied at first, from memory.

I know Souths Roosters and Canberra all started as top 8 picks if not top 4. Tigers also were a lot shorter than $26. How disappointing for those teams fans.

I did a study 2 months back and compared all the betting odds with all the betting agencies and found that Centrebet not only had the biggest number of betting options, but they also had the best prices.
