All his life he has walked onto a football field knowing that given even terms he would more often than not get the better of his opponents. He filled a career with highlight reel moments.

Slowly, though, injuries put chinks in the armour.

It began with his knee. Off-season operations, cartilage removed, the chronic pain involved. In horse racing they’d say he was running on a baldy tyre.

At the risk of repetition, Channel Nein's three televised matches this round all feature clubs that have been widely seen on Free-to-Air TV already.
After round five there still will be six clubs who haven't received Nein's/NRL's blessing: Manly, Canberra, Cronulla, Newcastle, Worriers and Titans.
How is this narrow coverage of favoured clubs supposed to be promoting the sport nationally and internationally?

Can read tomorrow's papers in my mind, "Boyd's Broncos answer critics in stunning fashion" blah blah thanks to ref... script written.

Broncos have had everything go with them
Nearly 60% possession
But right near half time find themselves 8-6 in front

Broncos have had 3 extra sets
They are gone I reckon second half that try by the tigers was against the run of play.

Yeah it's like the past week's worth of criticism in the media motivated them start strong but they look like they've put the cue in the rack after scoring that they.

They look unfit & a rabble.

And yet they are still been given a free ride by Todd and the nrl
Another free to air game tonight yet us sharks raiders titans and warriors have not been given a game yet.
But getting back to your point they do look very unfit.
Please let them lose tonight !!

Stupid isn't it? Tomorrow night is NQ and Melbourne while Sunday is St Merge and the Dogs.
