Next Home Game a beauty: Manly vs Roosters Sun 6th Aug 2pm (Round 22)

With good weather that day hope we really crack 18,000 + . It could be a real semi-final type game and may see where we are at? Especially playing Melbourne the week prior ! I hope the pre-sales go well as we get closer to this game.

Huge huge game that, perhaps the biggest game for us until finals. The game against the storm prior I believe we'll win in a classic. And seeing the roosters game is really the last against a big opponent I think we'll go all out again and come away with the win. Two matches with every chance for a bad result so we really have to focus and get into a rhythm at the start of the games. After that we can rest up for the finals yet still play well enough to defeat the opponents

Should be a good game. We will be backing up from a big loss to melbourne and will want to bounce back and the Roosters arent going amazing at the moment, got flogged by sharks and have lost gordon for 8 weeks and Friend for 5 weeks.

I agree re storm big loss just read when we play them it will be cam smiths 350th nrl match.

I think this game against easts will go along way to determining a top 4 spot

Looking forward to it, hopefully I can get my mum to the game. She has not been to Brookie for years and years and just like me is a complete one eyed Manly fan.

Whether permitting, I think it will be a cracker of a crowd of around 17,000.

Hopefully the boys get through to that round with little to no injuries. As I would LOVE to see them smash the Rorters on our home turf, with my mum right beside me....!!

The 2pm Sunday slot is perfect (in good weather). It means the match is played in daylight, and hopefully sunshine. When the match is 4pm you get part of the game under lights - and it gets cold.
I'm looking forward to this one, and will get their early again to watch our Under 20's.

Baring further injuries and playing our way back to from we can win this game and pull in the big crowd it deserves

I don't know about a" big loss" against Melbourne.

I don't see them being beaten, especially in Drizzleland, but I have a feeling our boys will be looking ahead to this game as one where they can once and for all say " yep Manly are back".

I'd expect a close game, ultimately won by the very astute game management of Cronk / Smith.

I tell ya, if we thought it was tough after our big guns left the Drizzle are going to come back to the pack BIG TIME when their 3 major players retire.

I'm hearing Shayne Hayne is coming out of retirement to adjudicate with Henry Paranara for this match, being the anniversary of 2013 grand final stitch up!
