The big talking point was Thurston's expletive-laden rant after the Cowboys were called back for a forward pass in the final minutes, scuttling any chance of victory.

Thurston blew up for 30 or 40 seconds as Robinson packed a scrum, demanding to know who made the forward pass call.

It was so intense that ABC Radio were forced to apologise for Thurston's language.
