There is **** all at Rockhampton way, even though they have fairly strong local footy and a lot of players, I just can't see it being successful.

The Sunshine coast seems a far more viable option, it is closer to Brisbane and that means you will get more people travelling there.

If they get the stadium built at Kuwana and it is half decent, they could certainly be a great option. It also covers a fairly large region so there should be support.

I know I would make the trips down if there was a full NRL team there, just to see some footy
 
If the Gold Coast can get two mega stadiums out of Captain Bligh I can't see why the Sunshine Coast can't get one. 

Rockhampton is a complete dump.
