THE Sea Eagles are back. Manly's resurgence continued in Gosford last night as it dismantled Newcastle with a performance so impressive it prompted Knights coach Brian Smith to brand the defending premiers the side to beat for this year's title.

It's good when another coach gives your team/club a wrap, i remember when Bellamy was asked last year are Manly the real deal ? his answer was their got a hard edge about them spot on =40-Nil.

If our form keeps getting better and with the likes of Matai back in the side next week and hopefully Snake returns soon and is fit enough to play we are every chance of making it back to back.

Brian Smith doesnt like to compliment us much either, its like geting a compliment out of Ricky Stuart

Love or hate Smith, like Phil Gould, he knows his footy

To have those 2 back on us, after a display with so much improvement left in it, it can't be a bad thing

He can't really turn around and say no manly are rubbish can he?
Let's be real about it, any coach that loses 44-20, is going to say the other team is a genuine premiership threat.
