Now that Billy Harrigan is in charge of NRL referees, it's no surprise the most egotistical whistleblower of the past 20 years has refashioned rugby league to match his own image.

i have disliked harrigan forever and was disgusted when he replaced finch. However i have to say so far so good.
The refs seem better and the games seem better if they keep this up for another 28 weeks I'd love to admit i was wrong.

To be honest this year has been the best so far. usually after round 1 and two there are a million penalties and there is frustration all over. There will always be frustration with the referee but it certainly has not been as vocal as previous years.

I am happy for a game to flow as long as obvious penalties and infringements are still picked up

Tries awarded when they are clearly not, forward passes from the ruck. All good? Hardly.
