I don’t usually blame Des for much at all tbh. But this decision felt completely wrong from the moment posts were saying Jetskis late inclusion. I still didn’t believe it until 7.30 ish, and NRL.com dropped the bombshell officially.
I’m sure Des has his reasons, but this is one of those rare moments when I completely disagree with his call.

I honestly thought Jack would smash it. He doesn't have very long to prove himself. He may not be playing rugby league at all next season.

We shouldn't be extending contracts until after the season. Leads to complacency.

Garrick, Keppie and Parker were extended this week, and I thought they were all pretty ordinary as thanks.

Garrick was beyond ordinary. Very disappointing how he didn't step up, especially after his last outing in the #1.

Parker spent most of the game on the wing.....given the speed of Vlandysball this is dumb, dumb, dumb.

Keppie played in a pack that were smashed by Vlandysball momentum against them.

It is virtually impossible to shift momentum, once a mistake is made.

As a NRL fan...

I didn't enjoy the Bulldogs game.
I didn't enjoy the Newcastle game.
I didn't enjoy the Titans game.

I didn't enjoy most of tonight's game.

Watching a team simply defend for 30 minutes is not footy, that's cricket.

A grand final team is made up by a group of quality players .Not necessarily all superstars but star players in their own right and are capable of playing at a high standard and win matches on a regular basis . We did not have that tonight

I have seen good sides like the storm and panthers do it and shift momentum

I have also seen low scoring games by two quality teams

Do any of you think perhaps jetski needed a run for match fitness as our barrel is pretty well dry?

We are playing Kurt Deluis and ben turbo FFS both of which wouldn't be in FG yet if it wasnt absolutely necessary.

Ben is close but still isnt ready for week in week out FG.

Toff now looka out so we will need as many matchfit players as possible.
