The problem in this game and the games we have lost is DCE !! He looks lazy, unfit and disinterested Cade Cust from Blacktown had a blinder today he makes cherry look like a flop !!!

Since we got Hodgko. DCE is definitely the problem.

Not 1 to support commentators claims as they basically all hate Manly.
But on the attack, behind on the board and grubber kicks to the sideline?
Also the option to kick for goal when up by 6 and ref has threatened 1 more penalty and a player is sent for 10 mins.
The Manly with a positive attitude would put foot on throat and beat the heck out of them.

Cannot be part of a game plan as i have been informed we do not have one.

That said it looked a lot like the Canberra tactic last year which worked.

As for the penalty, every team every game takes the 2 these days if it means going more than 1 converted try up. Additionally the warriors gave the next penalty and no one got binned unlike Jake so the 10 minute call cannot be used here.

On the line early against a grinding team I buy the 2 points - soon as they went the 2 after the ref called a bin next offence, just felt negative.

The Manly defence in the golden era, you could bank on defence- in 2018 if we score less than them - we lose.

This is not the golden era, we are not getting away with back ended deals, in fact we are down 330K (yet to be confirmed but the penalty applies either way) and are paying Myles so pretty much a cool million down.

True that - it’s why I thought we needed more tries - this team has no desire to defend once behind / can only play from in front which is getting frustrating to observe
