Nate Myles - Is there hope?

Age really is a thing and it's exactly what Nate has come up against. Nothing left in that old engine I'm afraid.
As long as he can get it up then he will be up for it for us as well
Don't be afraid feathered friend .

He's 31 which is not that old in prop years. Must be more due to injuries that he's become a plodder.

history always repeats.

what makes anyone here think plodder will do more than he was bought for ... get DCE to sign a contract with Manly.

Plod plod plod is as much as anyone can hope for.

Sometimes the legs just go...happened to Ian Roberts as well, although we managed that the other way around - moved him 'on', rather than 'in'...

looking at the big boppers

Myles ran for 2.5m/min, made 0.72 tackles/min
BJ ran 1.5m/min, made 0.66 tackles/min
AFB ran 2.2m/min, made 0.55 tackles/min
Taupau ran 1.6m/min, made 0.56 tackles/min
Jake ran 0.93m/min, made 0.73 tackles/min

Is this suggesting Myles is miles ahead of the others?

You could see Myles was trying, but he unfortunately is past being a regular first grader.
He needs to do the right thing and retire at the end of the year.

But at least Myles puts in, unlike some of the other forwards. No longer a 80 minute player but 40-50 mins is useful, given I dont think the options are producing the goods. Without Taupau, AFB and Lussick, Manly seems to have only Lawrence, Jake and Myles putting in. Perhaps they need to think of giving Bainbridge more game time. A few of the younger lower grade forwards cant hurt any more than some of these guys.
