Obviously Im extatic for the Brett and the Stewart family over the outcome of the trial. I wish them all the best with moving on and whatever else they decide needs to come of this affair.
Clearly we got the right result in the long run, but, how on earth can nearly 2 years of a young mans life be turned upside down on nothing more than a little bit of hear say from a schizophrenic and fraud.
Every last person involved in making this accusation become as large as it did need to hang their head in shame today. The girl, the father the cops the lawyers the media the ignorant fans the NRL.
It was fair in the end but didn't need anywhere near the circus it turned out. Our judicial system is a mess if something of this nature can happen to such an upstanding person.
