MWTS - Airport transport to Surfers - Rnd 3

Hi, For those travelling to the round 3 game on the Gold Coast you may be interested to know that there is cheap public transport to/from the airport to town (rather than getting a taxi or a shuttle)

The link above will allow you to plan around your schedule but it costs just under $6 to get from the airport to the Crowne Plaza and takes around 45 minutes.

We've used it a few time now so thought other's may appreciate the head's up?

As regular visitor to Surfers I can confirm this is by far the cheapest way to go.

The buses run at least every 30 minutes.

702 right out front past the Taxis on the Median strip goes all the way to Southport.

Also, free shuttle to Game from the grassy knoll (east side) of Broadbeach GC Highway/Victoria Avenue across from Jupiters/Convention Centre.

Getting back after the game is super easy as they have this free shuttle plus free shuttle to Titanium Bar right in the heart of Surfers. Also buses to Tweed - 761 and Train to Brissy.

If you want to go straight to Skilled from the Airport - 761 Robina will get you there.
Just make sure that you do not get on the 761 Tweed Heads, last year had an old gent do this and he almost missed the start of the game.
