Wow, I did not expect to see Lane up there as our MVP (so far).

it really hasn't surprised me ... I was really happy when we signed him ... I've been watching him with interest since 2014 when I saw him in a NYC game playing for the dogs ... huge talent and will only improve with the right encouragement and opportunities (i.e. getting good service and having players following him for offloads). I have been happy to see his defense improving with every game ... I sure hope it is not a temporary event.

Nice! Don't get me wrong, I think he's going very well. I just didn't think the Silvertails brains trust would have him as our equal best!

I think it says more about how badly the Sea Eagles superstars are playing. Lane is exceeding our collective expectations and putting in each week (so far). The prime cattle are sadly down on confidence and have been out of form for the last month or so.

true but give him some credit ... if he had been backed up last week tries were on offer ... might have been a different result .... just sayin
