Tonight is tough. And tough for all the right reasons.

3 walker. His defence tonight was awesome and his runs were dangerous and he kicked 7 goals. Brilliant.
2 Jake. Defence tonight was key and he just did the usual. Tackle tackle tackle.
1 Tommy. His try in half time changed the game, and he was desperate in defence.

Great stuff guys.

Huge effort from BJ and Nate Myles. Some silly errors and penalties but they both played their tails off tonight (and they had to, because they were our only two front rowers). I really liked Billy Bainbridge, too - he's a worker, and every pack needs one. Hasn't had a lot of opportunity but he looks like he belongs in the top grade.

DCE had the momentum turner with that 40 20. Tommy was brilliant in attack and defence. The coming of something special. Api stepped up as well. Defence on point as usual and some great one on one tackles. His decision making from dummy half was the big improvement today.

We actually looked well coached today. Didn't just seem like a fluke 🙂 really stepped up even when they scored or when we dropped balls. DCE really stepped up as captain. Great to see after the criticism.

I love seeing so many players in the 3 2 1 such as tonight. Usually a good sign there were no bad players.

Loved seeing Hastings score at the end. And how quick did Shaun Lane look?

3. for brenton Lawrence - great go forward and his defense was top notch that try was deserved. His effort to cover defend in the corner around the 60th minute typified his game
