Hoppa Sr played all three 90s GFs. Remember it was his stupid pat on Robbie O'Davis' head, after the latter made an error, that helped spark O'Davis and Newcastle into action in 1997. That and some performance enhancers.

My dream for the 2012 GF is that Kingy, Choc and Matai score tries.

They are the only 3 left from the 2008 Centenary GF side that have yet to get a GF try.

In all, 9 Players from the 2008 team of 17 have scored GF tries - that must be a record of sorts. 😉

Manly has always had the most creative Teams, even though they are only credited with their defence in winning GFs.

Matai got one in 2007, but not a win of course
