Good article. When he returns, he will become the best ever team manager for Manly. I always liked Zorba, as quirky and passionate as he was. However, Beaver would be the best ever manager, for any team ....ever .... and give our club such a huge advantage.

Surely Beaver would have to hold the record for the most 1st grade games in league - we all know how gracious he was by not beating Lamb's record, but he would have to have played the most combined games in NRL/NSWRL/ARL/ESL history.

Kevin Sinfeld - Leeds Captain is just over 400 with plenty of years in him yet. 'King' Keiron Cunningham - retired a couple seasons ago on 500 for Saints Danny McGuire - already on 300+ same Kevin Sinfeld.
