So I’m done with the NRL. Consequently selling all of my Memorabilia. In addition to the photos to follow I have a pristine 2011 Jersey signed by the whole squad that I never got around to framing. I’m located in Canberra, let me know if anything interests.

I don’t hate the club Mark, but the game is now unwatchable & rigged for the select few special clubs. I have ridden this out for 5 years waiting for it to pass, but it just won’t.

Don't do something you will regret. The current state of the NRL shouldn't detract from those great memories attached to those items you've collected.

I don’t hate the club Mark, but the game is now unwatchable & rigged for the select few special clubs. I have ridden this out for 5 years waiting for it to pass, but it just won’t.

I really sympathise with you Ralphie...I really do. I am extremely frustrated by the state of game. I hate the bunker with a passion. I hate the new rules. I despise the very obvious way the salary cap achieves none of its original intention, yet the NRL do nothing to address it.

However...

When I think about my childhood and following the Sea Eagles, I look at my jersey and the emblem, I realise that my passion and love for the game and this club, is so much bigger than the transience of the current administration. It's in my blood. I'm proud to be a Manly fan even when we get thumped. Leaving Brookie after a game and hearing fans singing Eagle Rock, it just reminds me of why it's special to support this club.

If you throw in the towel, the NRL will keep rolling on and you will lose something that's obviously close to your heart; or else you wouldn't own these beautiful pieces of memorabilia.

I implore you to stay, your Sea Eagles family is not the same without you.

Don’t do it Ralphie. Just looking thru your collection brought a tear to the eye. All your memorabilia has once in a lifetime memories attached that only you and your wife will ever understand and appreciate. They’re your memories, not the NRL’s.
