It is very obvious that certain people in our club have very close ties to certain Journalists and media personalities. Lots of Bozo's media friends went into bat for him over the last couple of days. as was evident when Danny Weirdler mentioned it in an interview last week.
Asked to dissect the drama, Channel 9’s Danny Weidler told the Triple M Grill Team: “Their office is very unhappy…(but) it’s going to be a really hard fight for CEO Tim Cleary to win against Bob Fulton.
“(Fulton’s) going to have media heavyweights on his side…someone like Ray Hadley’s going to be heavily in his corner as is Paul Kent, who is a firm Bob Fulton man.
So with people like Paul Kent and Rothfield in Bozo's corner and Dean Ritchie being mates with Zorba, then the question has to be asked. Why do these club legends that we are told have nothing but the clubs best interests at heart, allow these same journalists and the papers that they all write for rubbish and bash the reputation of the club from pillar to post to sell papers. Does that mean these same legends stood idly by whilst the club was attacked last year in the papers regarding unsubstantiated match fixing claims, we all saw the assassination of the previous club management through the papers before the Penn's took over, add to that Paul Kent and News Ltd. being sued by Brett Stewart after they tore his character apart with made up stories during his court ordeal.
With friends like these blokes who needs enemies? Time Bozo and Zorba started telling their mates to pull their heads in and start showing Manly a bit more respect!
