Maybe worse than the Eels game ??

Maybe...the Eels game was a nightmare, but this may just top it by a cherry.
The intensity was lax and there was an almost a vibe Manly did not know how to stop the momentum and were shellshocked expecting to just play out the 2nd half at 50% and get the win, but after getting boo'd off the field, there was an ominous feel the knights would come out hard...no suprise here as a fan...but the players seemed suprised
The 40/20 attempt early 2nd half was something you'd expect chasing points, not up 16 - 0 and the rest of the kicking game including a clanger out on the full and Brooks bomb to gft a 7 tackle set were hard to swallow.
If your an opposition team looking to make a break....look no further, it's the Brooks n Ben edge and there's a very good chance you will have success.
Garrick has copped plenty over time for his defence, but its 3 levels up on this performance, but the effort on Marzew wih him and Faulolo was a shocker and how NO MANLY players were covering or even trying when that Hunt knocked it back to Pinga for the GP winner is a mystery
To be fair it was Koula shuffled back to fullback that made these changes possible, but still expect just a little bit better than what we got.
I like what Ben has done recently back row as far as improvement, but still needs more...and as a centre, I prey not to see this as an option again....made Gagai look like a combination of Inglis and Latrell.
Brooksy makes some good stops 1 on 1, but his positioning is terrible rushing up or staying back and you could see he gave that winger oodles too much space on that wing tonight.
Hopefully get a few back next week and improve on that disasterous effor....I rate that as bad as the Eels game ...or worse

The WLWL pattern makes this more predictable so not as bad as eels and if Lehi stays on we probably might have been in with a chance.

Brown made no impact tonight and Toff returned well.

Waddell was ordinary again but in the centres.

The so called leaders lost this for us including $CE Brooks and Schmole in the second half. He is supposed end a forward leader.

We are cooked and not sure about the future for Seibs as his coaching inability to break the pattern is on him.

To be outcoached by O’Brien is embarrassing.

We came out in the second half with 5 hit ups and a kick, no ball movement or second phase play, we probably completed at 90% but invited Newy back into the game. A lot of positional changes during the game admittedly but Manly lost the game rather than Newcastle winning it.

I think the knights booing the players off at halftime made more of an impact then O'Brien's insipid coaching.

The fact he attacked the fans after the game shows he truly doesn't have a clue.

Its probably saved any heat of the club in the media as O'Brien is now the talking point after his idiotic presser.

Yet he still out coached Siebold.

Time to lower the expectation bar.

I love you passion feathered friend
Every word
Every sentence
and every post is felt

The Parra nightmare loss was with out DCE
The Knights nightmare loss was with DCE
Both nightmare losses were with our Head coach Seibold
Wake me up when the Seibold Manly era is over
