this little snippet was in an article about Storms Will Chambers signing with Yanion

Meanwhile, Manly captain Matt Orford has vowed not to turn his contract negotiations into a circus after being burnt four years ago when he left Melbourne.

In 2005, Orford's talks with the Sea Eagles were covered in detail, right down to the supposed amount of Manly's offer and rumours that he had been given an apartment as part of the deal. Orford doesn't want a repeat.

"I am in no rush but I don't want it to be a circus," Orford said.

Orford's preference is to stay with Manly but he hasn't ruled out a move to England if the Sea Eagles are unable to make room under the salary cap.
