Sea Eagles centre Steve Matai knows the Eels aren’t going to be a walk in the park on Sunday despite last week’s thrashing at the hands of the Roosters.

“We just know that they are going to come out hard. They’ve got a hard-nosed coach in Brad Arthur and we are going to have to be there defensively and I’m sure we’ll do that,” Matai said.

Matai is totally awesome!

He says 'um' an awful, um, lot.

edit: I like how he had to go into cliché mode when asked if Manly's forwards would be happy lussick is out. *real answer: - Our forwards aren't scared of anyone so I'm sure they don't give a rats that he's out.

Also, nice question journo...'do you like the send offs in the game?'

...sigh, to be a journo.
