Interesting they held a talk with the new guys a couple of weeks ago discussing what it means to play for Manly. The culture looks good at the moment. The team respect DCE as a captain and they are all playing for each other and working hard to keep improving each week

The attitude has been heading in the right direction since about half way through last year. This team is starting to build something good.

There will be set backs and hiccups there always is, but they will continue to get stronger (together)

Cut from the same cloth as my dogs supporting mate was supposed to stay at our joint on the way back up the coast after the match dropped me off and kept driving.

It was good to see that they enjoyed the win but know that they still have to improve to match it with the best consistently. Next Friday will be a real test for us against an in form Roosters team.

Gotta hand it to Barrett. This team had way too many rejects from other teams to compete but after the last two weeks those rejects have stepped up and performed as a team. We have some brilliant individuals but it was good to see a lot of the others contribute so much to the win.

Reynolds went off with a leg injury. NRL rules says you've got to wait for a break in play, etc. before you're allowed back on.
Reynolds ran back on after 2 tackles.
I'm not sure but, he mustn't have got the nod from an official.

Every Sunday morning between 4/8 of us blokes get together for a coffee and to talk bull****. this morning Big Simmo turned up and promptly ordered my big brekkie (our standard wager).

But I underestimated the big unit, he is a cunning basterd, he turns up with his Missus and 3 of his kids knowing full well my vocabulary will be limited and that I won't bag the tripe out of him in front of the kids. Every time I tried to raise the subject of footy he would say "Skysie, tell Woodsie what you are doing at school" Prick took all the fun out of it.

The post try celebrations were especially good to watch, made us all extremely proud. They even knocked over Igor, after our try of the season! Very cultured unit this lot!
