woohoo

In on page one!

- some of you wake far too early.

Go Manly!

Lets just hope after last nights debacle we just play our own controlled game. I couldn't cope watching two ugly scrappy boring games in a row. Maintain our standards for 80 minutes and we win. Simples! Go Manly

It's impossible to go through a whole season without a form slump (I can't think of it ever happening) but - despite the titans woes making this an ideal game of complacency - I just don't get the feeling we are ready to slacken off yet.
For one thing, we have some highly competitive blokes and they would have suffered badly with our miserable results last year, so I'm sure the mood is still super excited and keen.
Of course, some ref shockers and simple dropped ball could bring about our downfall.
But I think a really big win is more likely. I'm looking forward to cheering them on tonight!

Danger game and Parra getting complacent last night was a very good thing for us as Des will remind them that GC are now bottom of the ladder and will want to get off the bottom tonight, especially with the announcement of a mid season review at the Titans which will fire their team to so a bit more grit. They have the ability to put point on teams. Danger game for us. Go Manly!!

1995?

I hear Arrow is out - Massive loss as his defence is up with the best....the latitude front rowers have had through the middle against Titans has already been the biggest issue - now they face the NRL's best duo....with AFB and Kapow mincing up the middle - the platform will be laid for many attacking opportunities.
Only issue playing an easier side is the defence can lose its intent and impact - contact and stick is vital early to not allow this side a sniff.
In attack,Teams can also fall into playing sideways against games expected to win, rather than earning the right with hard, direct footy first
If the big blokes can blow up the ruck - which they should - will be some great flowing footy.
