The Sea Eagles will be without Tom Trbojevic and Jason Saab for the final round of the regular season.

The news is not as positive for Saab, with the winger suffering a high-ankle sprain. He will be assessed on a week-to-week basis.

As mentioned elsewhere, it's a bit of a concern reading about how much money the greedy nrl will lose if the game is at Brookie.

I suggest we all flood social media with this 'concern', so much that the powers at be have to call the rort off as "we're on to them!"

In hockey, when the refs screw up the crowd all chant "refs you suck, refs you suck" for awhile.

though best to let the nrl we're onto their preference for a dogs home final so the 'totally independent and above reproach honest refs' adjudicate the game fairly.

Now, I'm taking off my tin foil hat and going to get a haircut!

A Canterbury win would have sealed an elimination final at the Sydney Olympic Park venue next Saturday where a crowd of more than 50,000 was expected. That can only happen now if Manly lose at home to Cronulla on Sunday afternoon.

The NRL collects the gate takings during all finals games – and the difference between a sixth-versus-seventh elimination final at 4 Pines Park and 17,000 fans compared to more than 50,000 supporters at Accor Stadium could be about $1 million, according to sources with knowledge of the finances, but who are not authorised to speak publicly.

Don’t feel that your paranoia is misguided, you never know what this NRL administration will get up to.Thankfully Adam Gee isn’t known for his “managerial skills” and will be desperate to get back on top of the referees pile

Just watch how many 6 agains and penalties the Sharks get awarded to reduce Manly's chance to get on a roll to have any chance to win the game. It will be a setup for a Manly fail.

So where is the article whinging about how much a Penrith home final is costing compared to having it at Allianz.

It's behind a paywall!

though my point is (was) that if everyone is aware of the revenue difference, the spotlight can be put on the refs, so that the nrl can't get them to CHEAT.

Game day
MIGOTY is an understatement
I think refs and the nrl will have a say today
It will be on a call which at crucial time will cost us something
The NRL don’t want us to win
Home final up for the taking today
Let’s shove it up the nrl
Home final vs dogs if we win
Come on boys

Corrupt NRL! The fix is in 😡😡😡😡

I'd think this was all silly paranoia if not for the astonishing ref display v Tigers that - 'luckily' for the NRL and broadcasters - set up the highly publicised Spoonbowl.

Anyway, Go Manly! We've beaten the rest of the finalists so far, it's the Sharks turn today to taste defeat at the hands of the mighty Sea Eagles!

After my giants lost yesterday in the afl , congratulations to swans supporters on this forum I can’t cop us losing today.

Would make for a pretty poor weekend

Manly better turn up today.
