Manly v Parramatta 18/5/2003 Rd 10

What a couple of weeks this team has gone through. After 3 losses to open the season, performed admirably for 3 wins followed by the heartbreaking loss to Penrith and last week an utter thrashing at the hands of Cronulla.
Currently running 10th, 3 wins 5 losses and Parramatta running 14th, 2 wins 7 losses.
This match had it all except that d'fence was found around the field to keep the supporters out.
Sam Harris debut. First golden point match. Anyone with a step made a break and the ref poleaxed.

That was a great win and some really good footy as well . Defence may have been a bit down by both sides but by the same token some really good open field play .

Speaking of Parra, we have them Rd 3 after the bye at Brookie Thursday 6.50. I'll be visiting the rellies on the weekend before so will definitely be staying on to watch us carve em up. Pity it's a Thurs time slot tho, but hey... I'll take it.
