Tough road trip to start the season. Off to steamy Townsville with 10 new players to Manly and a new coach. Des Hasler's first game as a coach. Paul Stephenson, NRL Debut plus new to Manly, Walker, Mullane, Monaghan, Heckenberg, Hollingsworth, Donnelly, Dunley, Leuluai and Hicks.

Poor first half and down 0-14. Errors from the Cowboys opened the door for Manly. 2 penalty kicks to touch raked back in by Manly led to tries. Scott Donald scores a try in his 50th NRL game, Paul Stephenson a try on debut and Andrew Walker scores his 50th NRL try.

Also a try and a try assist to Jye Mullane in his first game for Manly. Showing some promise.
