There's been a good run over the SOO period, but to be honest, there has been some ordinary opposition.
We now have Souths who are hurting after dropping off the past month and will be out to make a statement on Saturday....Eels at home the following week, you would expect the 2 points, but they do often give their best against us, then on to the Storm.....if Manly were to win 2 out of 3 would be sitting pretty, but if Manly rolls all 3 teams....it will go from "Rebuild" to "Contenders" overnight.

We will most likely be missing Jurbo, Turbo and DCE on Saturday night.

Why? DCE & Jurbo both played 3 nights after Game One, plus Turbo returned from his long lay off the same night. Barring injury, they will likely all play.

Edit: DCE is the player most likely to be rested, giving Croker another chance in first grade. Will be interesting to see today's team list - will Croker & Brad be included in the squad & where is Jack?

As you say, team list Tuesday won't reveal too much because Des will have to carry reserves but will name the origin boys as backups.

I just feel that running our best 3, 3 days after an origin decider could come back and haunt us. Des has been around so he'll know what the right call is. 3 days though is in that bad timeframe in my opinion, so the risk of injury could be higher.

I trust Des though. He's the coach.

Souffs also have three players in the SOO. Cook is just as important to them as each of our representatives is to us.

I’m confident v Souths and surprisingly Storm BUT we always seem to save our ****tiest Performance for the year v the Eels.

But I’ll be happy with 2/3 regardless of which teams we beat.

Would be surprised if all 3 don't play....if anything due to Toms layoff could be rested, though likely have Elliott on bench again as an option just in case during the match.

We have some hard games coming up.. parra always get up for our games these days but we should roll them pretty easily same with souths, though our origin players need to have big games. Hopefully no burgi but its looking like sammy boyle will play. Storm will be the big test we have to beat them cam smith and the refs! If the games fair and we are on our game we will beat storm. Even if we lose against storm it will be a good lesson for the finals 😉

All three games are winnable.

The thing that annoys me about the Storm this season is how many matches they should have lost, but the refs kept them in the contest long enough for them to clinch the win right near the end of the match. They're nowhere near as good as their position on the ladder would suggest.

I agree whole heartedly with your claim....but 1 major problem that is not going to change....Cam Smith is the main referee in Storm games !!

Been there, done that. Trust me, she is over rated. Too high maintenance for me.

If we complete our sets with little mistakes we can beat any team in this comp. Our handling errors are our biggest concern. We have shown that we can defend even without our star players, but our handling let’s us down. Penalties need to be kept to an all time low. It’s the only way in today’s game.Cant win without the ball.
