Here is a team of current manly and Parramatta players who have been apart of both teams.

Back in the day someone here used to do a hybrid team every week of our side and the opposition. Always thought it was an interesting read.

My take on the best combined 17 on current form would be

1. Stewart
2. Semi
3. Matai / Jennings (struck match)
4. Lyon
5. T Turbo
6. Walker / Norman (I'd take either)
7. Foran
8. Paulo
9. Peats
10. Myles
11. Ma'u
12. Taupau
13. Jake T

14. Parcell
15. Moeroa
16. Scott (based on having a utility forward)
17. Vave

Actually I did that once before many years ago just to stir a mate who is a self-proclaimed scotch 'connoisseur' .

Its actually really nice if ignore the fact its $25 per glass 😕

Id like to think that mixing Manly with parra is like mixing JW King George V with Metho.

I'll never forget taking a Rugby Union Tour to the British Isles for RWC 1999.

We had to fill in the weeks between games so went up to Scotland to do the Whiskey Trail.

On arrival at Glenfiddoch, we did a tasting and then a few paid 50 Quid to taste the old stuff.

Out comes a 50 year old whiskey ( melt in your mouth stuff), one of the young blokes ( whose Dad had paid ) asked " can I get some coke with that ", FMD I thought the Scottish guy behind the bar was going to have a heart attack on the spot!
