After waking up around 3 this morning and seeing the 2013 prelim final against Souths (featuring a young Walkz), and seeing the squad we had even 2 years after Des left, you wonder what might have been if he had stayed and if we will ever get that level of quality and experience right across the park again. DCE, Foz, Snake, Skivy, Killer, Gift, Kitey, Wolfman, Ballin, Choc, and it goes on. The game is on again soon on Fox Sports as Cameron has said.

I think things had of been different had they found away to keep Glenn Stewart. Tough with the cap but maybe the should have retired choc off first

Being in the members stands right in half way full of Souths fans with only one other supporter in my bay, oh how sweet a night it was.
Also seeing albo Crowe and his crew leave their private box and them all walking past me with me just pointing at my jersey saying “ such a shame you lost “ was priceless.
One of those moments I hope I never forget as that night no one gave us a chance to win no one and at 14-0 down we looked gone.

I was in Melbourne watching it with my Souths mad son in law , and my now recently departed Panthers son in law.

The Souths one was really giving it to me , prancing around like a Prima Donna at 14-0.

With 10 minutes to go he walked out of the pub, walked home ( 7km) and locked himself in his room for two days!!

It was a beautiful thing to behold!!

They didn't mind Beaver copping the axe so they could get paid big but God forbid that same axe falling on one of the clique

Pathetic really and even with hindsight the only change I'd have made would be axing choc with him

Love the bloke but Gifty at Souths was more like Gimpy, either or explanation for that nickname is fitting so I'll leave it at the readers discretion
