we have beaten 3 of the top 8 sides and should of beaten storm. we have snake and matai injured so that's 1 mil not being used so we have a disadvantage compared to other teams. Barrett is doing a fine job and same with our coaching staff. see the game plan to kick out so the Raiders backs couldn't get involved? worked brilliantly. Our forward rotation was excellent and our pack smashed the Raiders by 450 extra meters made. so we aren't perfect so what will have a good team and we will only get better. be happy we won and are in top 8.

I'll ask again who would you get if we sack Barrett?

In this instance, Desert is correct, if you are going to sack someone, you need to replace them with someone better. Who is out there on the market? AFAIK, Baz is doing a pretty good job this year beating a fair few top teams. Alright, our consistency isn't there, but we will get there as a team, as we grow.

if its the latter maybe you should follow the eels matey if it's the 1st then snap out of it he's our coach and there is no one else left unless you want Jason Taylor lol the guy will probably drop the turbos and force them out

The thing is, Canberra can leak points as well. If we aim up and have the right energy, we can put points on quickly ourselves. I still have a sneaky feeling that we will get up tonight. Taupau is a huge inclusion for us - he makes a massive difference to the energy and effectiveness of our pack. If he played last week we would have won.

To be honest, i am not sure that i would ever accept him back. As much is he is a great coach, and one of my idols from childhood, I think that we are better than that nowadays. Not that the boardroom and football club show it.

Nice one SER8. Go on, you can do it. Admit you are wrong, when you are. It's good for you. And we are all wrong, sometimes. In my case very rarely of course. And as a matter of interest I am still not convinced that Barrett has what it takes just because we put on a good performance against the raiders. Top level sport is interesting - the mental edge is so key and how much did that affect the raiders effort? Hard to tell, they looked a bit off their game - in all truth, they're normally better disciplined apart from Leilua, who is a nutcase.

Ok I was wrong about Parcell, I thought we had big plans for him. I was wrong about Jorge, I thought he might be on the scrap heap but he is powering on.
Oh yeah, and I was wrong tipping Penrith to beat the Eels, but as I explained elsewhere I was sucked into tipping with heart not head.
As for Raiders discipline, I haven't watched their other games but they have lost quite a few. They could very easily have been the winner against us, but really they played as well as we let them play.
