May not be called that ( used the ESL name) but just announced on TV up here that there will be an NRL round in 2019 played entirely at Suncorp Stadium.

The usual Thu(1), Fri(2), Sat(3) and Sun (2) but all at one venue.

I imagine they’ll sell a ticket to cover all games and then individual after that!

To be honest not really.

I used to live 10 minutes from Suncorp ( 4 minutes to the train, 6 minutes on the train to Milton), I’m now in fishing territory out on Moreton Bay ( 20 minutes to the station and 65 minutes on the train) so doubt I’d go for anything other than the Manly game.

Nothing to do with the Donkeys, they’d just be one of the 16.

This is a Queensland Government project ( 20 million dollars worth) and agreed to by the NRL!

It will be called the Testamonial round, and revenue will be split 50/50 between Thurston and Smith.

A whole weekends of footy at suncorp...

I hope a lot of interstate people travel to the games as the Brisbane people don't understand that footy gets played on other nights besides Friday.

Plus it's good to help out poor Queensland. They get given so little from the nrl and the murdoch family. It will be nice to bring all the players into one city so that the thoroughbreds don't have to travel far to make their "totally unconnected with the broncos" third party offers.

Free wine at Mark's place? I'm in!!

It should be
Friday 2 games with broncos playing the 2nd game
Sat 3 games with cowboys playing the last game
Sun 3 games with titans playing and maybe a Sydney blockbuster like parra v dogs

They would fill suncorp
All 3 days if they structured it like
