hello all,

does anyone have any good guidance for seating and ticket options for magic round up in Brisbane?

After 21 years in London serving her Maj I've decided to fly the nest and as of April EOL will become EOGC and my first order of business will be to secure tickets to the magic round Manly game.

After im done with the tickets im going to go down to Broadbeach, sit in the surf and uncontrollably cry at the price property has increased on the GC in the past 12 months. Then I will probably have to buy a $28 coffee now all the Sydneysiders and Melbourne mafia have relocated there and pushed batista prices sky high.

Any other tips?

Oh and from this moment on there will be no more multi quotes of death from captain hindsight. Not because I don't want to but given I will now be in the same country as most of you fine upstanding people I just don't want to be tracked down and bashed.....

Mate I’ve been to a few. No real bad seats at Suncorp. Manly always the main Fri game v broncs. I actually think top deck of the western stand as low down as you can get. Good for shade, easy access to booze etc. I sat there this last magic round and was really impressed with the view. Can scan the field well and see how much work Tommy does!

Good tips thanks. Is it free seating as far as the stand you buy your tickets in? Went on the site last night and you can choose stand but not seat?

Never been free seating anytime I’ve been.

Basically as many have said you get a fair view from most seats but I’d avoid the really high up seats , even the ones on the side.

The very best seats will all be taken by stadium members.

Very happy at any stage for you to PM me with seats you can get and I’ll let you know.

Low down in the corners are often cheap but you still get a pretty good view.

Anything on the side , either level 1 or lower level 2 are great but likely to be expensive.

Behind the posts is ok , but only in the lower level , once you get high uo they are crap.

not the official staff no but I have met the old girl and was at one point back in 2012 offered official work in the palace but had to decline.
