Accomodation - check
Weather - WTF šŸ¤¬
Hope it's good enough to get through tomorrow on these roads, but my odds are going out.....staying positive and I do have a kayak, so I guess still some hope. @:smirk:

Still hoping the bulk of the rain forecast for Brisbane Friday will be starting to ease by tomorrow night . Safe travel and sure that many other league and Manly fans with tickets and intent on still going are trying to stay positive as well

My son is making the same trip from Toowoomba also tomorrow, via Murrays bus lines. Meet up at my place Coorparoo, party of 8 Sea Eagle supporters, then off at 6pm to the Claxton Hotel outside bar for a couple of JD's and other assorted drinks. We are all taking fold-up umbrellas along, we'll take what comes as long as we get the win, that's all that matters.

Same, down from Toowoomba tomorrow night

We're definitely gonna get wet lads, probably just be us there. Brisbane fans too soft and scared of losing!

Its not unheard of but this is highly unusual for May.

The weather here, normally, is glorious from May to September.

I'm off to Darwin (flying visit for 10 nights) on Monday at least it will be better up there.

Might grab some Gatton players on the way through @maxta I see they put 116 on Newtown last wknd. Looked like a cricket score 116/6!

Yeh they ran riot and declared at 116
All Gatton senior grades including women look solid in 2022.....and I'm doing well at the can bar on game days šŸ¤™

Unfortunately news not good if you're coming from Toowoomba today, the Lockyer Valley is flooded, the major bus route is closed for the day. What a bummer, my son was booked on the morning bus, now cancelled for the day.

Aaahh coorparoo, lived in brizzie a long time and spent much of my adult youth in coop, stones, greeslopes , gabba , buranda , k point and east Brisbane

Floods now, lived in flower st buranda for a bit , went to bed at midnight, by 3am had to move all the cars, by 6am our highset house was 1 step from going under and had to canoe out for brekky. Now that **** was poor infrastructure

Leagues club, rsl, lord stanley , aussie nash, shaftson, pineapple, story bridge when the bomb shelter , cricketers club , and of course langlands pool to treat the hangovers

Nice memories ,
