He's been given permission to look around for a new club by the Panthers.

Considering we were looking to that Newcastle bloke to fill in a bench hooking/ utility it could be better off looking at priddis.

Given Des's obvious opinion of Ballin it wouldn't surprise me if he had a look at it for next season as the full time hooker.

We do look a tad short at the moment though.

If ballin goes down next season we don't have a back up hooker that I have seen who's ready to take the reigns.

Sooner than we know it Des will be chucking Menzies back in the centers so we can fill the void somehow.

He'd certainly be better than Dunley.

If the Panthers are releasing him than they will have to pick up the difference in his contract value will they not ??
