Luke O'Donell out for the Season

As hinted on another thread, Luke O'D has his hamstring totally torn from his pelvis and is undergoing surgery for this to be reattached.

How this will affect his contract negotiations is anyone's call. Manly are rumoured to be be interested in him and it remains to be seen how the injury will impact on this situation.

It seems as if the operation will be undertaken in Sydney!!!!

Graham Murray was on NRL on Fox last night, and the question of O'donnell was put straight to him. He said negotiationms are a long way down the track, and he's very close to signing - and in fact will be done soon.

What? He didn't say they were a long way down the track.

He said they would like him to stay at the club and they are in talks but no mention of nearly signing. He said we will see how things pan out.
