Lowe: Why aren't Kiwis, Warriors better?

They might still hold the number one Test ranking but former Kiwis coach Graham Lowe says there is ‘very little to crow about’ for New Zealand rugby league in 2016.

In his column for the Daily Telegraph, Lowe declared there is more natural rugby league talent in New Zealand than any other country but questioned why they don’t dominate at both the international and NRL level.

While he expressed some concern for the state of the Test team, Lowe saved most of his criticism for the Warriors.

I agree that the Worriers are perpetual under performers, but I think that the Kiwis can beat Australia if they reach the final of the 'World Cup'. The Kiwis rise to the occasion, and could have won that match on the weekend had their goal-kicking been better.
One thing that stood out for me in that match was that Third-man-in Thaiday was past it as an International, and should be replace by Jake or that St George second rower whose name escapes me.

@The Who , Third Man should never have been selected to tour. He was past it as an international in 2014.

I agree that his spot should go to either Jake or Tyson Frizell.
