David Gower played really well today. We could have used him. He tries his heart out and has ball skills.
The two other overpaid ex-Manly players were pedestrian.

He's being playing well but I don't remember him ever playing that well for us. At least not on a consistent basis. Good luck to him but I'd rather have Jake T than Gower.

Gower is playing well. Full stop.

He'd walk into our team ATM.

Gower has been good this year. He was only with us for one year. Came from the drags and tigers.

Never really got much game time with us. I remember one game at Gosford where he did really well and got the player's award (and was thrilled, apparently) but that was pretty much it. Even in the grand final he got about two minutes on the field. I have't watched any of the Eels games except for when they towelled us up (because, why would anyone watch any NRL game these days?) but it's nice that he's got a permanent spot.
