So what he is saying is that Smith, Cronk, JT and Slater are all worth a "million" while other players are not? Take away market conditions and it is hard to argue with that as they are 4 of the best (if not the best) players over the past 5 years.

The only player close to that list could be Matt Scott (the outstanding front rower)...who else? DCE has been great this year but still lacks the consistency of the other 4

I still think there is an under-the-table fund set aside to keep hometown favourites like Lockyer in Brisbane.
