Hi All,

A few years ago we used to run a system on here for live blogging the threads, one of the members or mods would fill in the details as the game is played live and keep everyone up to date at the top of the thread, whilst everyone else commented inline.

I was wondering if that is something that you might be interested in again on the site.

I would need some volunteers to help maintain and blog the games that I am unable to do (for instance I can't do this Friday)

I would trial one system and then if that goes well and gets good engagement end up writing the longer term code for it.

So lets see if anyone would be up for that (It may end up a combination of the live stats gamethread mixed with a section for commentary

I can’t help ( usual Caravan trip coming up ) but can you explain why a blog is better that the current game day thread??

It becomes more of an enhancement to the GameDay thread or runs in a linear fashion.

I like the game day thread to be more about discussion and derision on what's happening.

The live blog would be one member updating the details of what's happening to be much more like a single bead commentary of the game with people commenting inline.

It's displayed slightly differently as well to place emphasis on the content of the blog and stats.

Not sure if you are a boxing fan but it's how you often have to engage with boxing if you don't want to fork out for pay per view.

One person fills in the live blog which is running commentary everyone else can comment about it below.

Probably starting out using this until I build my own system
