The congested market is probably partly due to a heap of teams having new coaches. Most top 8 teams from 2011 have also lost a few key players which brings them back to the field. I am surprised the Storm aren't premiership favourites.

I bet pretty consistently on rugby league!
I am not keen on the storm.. They now seem to lack strikepower unless an under 20 player can make the jump! Losing champion only worsens their situation..against the warriors they struggled to threaten in attack! Putting up cross field kicks was their only option..

The thing to remember is every year the so-called experts and us fans make predictions of the coming season, and often (especially when picking the 8) people have it more wrong than right.

Every year there are teams expected to do well that fail, and vice versa.

Same 3 teams are streets ahead imo - Manly , Tigers , Warriors.....................daylight then a pack led by Broncs.

My theory on the broncos is pretty simple!
If they can't win one with Lockyer they can't win one without him!! The tigers are due but to win a comp u need a quality 7...
