Not really sure if it did have an impact but wanting to know other peoples thoughts. Did us getting in the press last week with the whole NRL done us wrong in 08 have any impact on the way we played?
It probably shouldn't have and it was only a few press conferences really, but we've never seen Des in particular like that and to be honest, it wasn't the mindset I would have liked coming from our group before round 1 when all we should have been thinking about was the Storm.
This is not a debate about whether we were right or wrong or if it needed to be said or not. Just if it showed we weren't 100% focused on saturday night.
