King & Kite

Many myself included have been critical of our big boppers playing like 5/8ths.

Just wondering if it is they way they are being asked to play. The Bulldogs forwards are doing a lot of passing close to the line and Hasler you would think would have coached our guys to play in a similar way.

Tooves as the new guy would have had a if it ain't broke don't fix it attitude and kept the same style. The big difference is that perhaps guys like Pritchard, Graham etc are more natural ball players than our big guys so are more effective at it.

Anyway just a thought.

Nothing wrong with forwards passing the ball, it is a good strategy. Not so good is when forwards throw bad passes or forward passes or toss it so far back in trying to offload in the tackle that we just have to dive on it and lose ground. We just need to be a lttle more selective...

TC will know what to do!

I loved Kite's cutout pass to the wing the other day, picked up 30 metres. I don't know but plenty of posters have been harsh on these two. I'm sure 2V has trained some of these tactics. I look back at the overall results we have achieved and they are our starting book-ends and that is one tough job.
