Having seen in the last couple of years (a.k.a. the dark times) us fielding a side without a recognised goal kicker and playing games where at times no-one turned up at dummy half, can I be a little optimistic that someone has been bomb testing these guys under pressure at training every session over the off season.

He'll improve with game time, some have been explainable such as Beale bumping him away from it and jt's floating bomb

Defence- 9/10
Attack- 7/10 (power running, little bit cautious with a untrustworthy centre partner next to him, with a quality centre could be brilliant in attack)

Liking the look of Uate atm, time will tell and catching needs to improve but promising signing

Uate has been playing the game for some 9 seasons. He is 29 years old so if he can't catch now then it's unlikely Barrett can some how magically pull a rabbit out of a hat and teach him to catch. And it is highly unlikely he will improve much with game time.

But lets hope I am wrong as Manly will be in for a tough time if both Uate and Taufa are the wingers this year.

If Uate shows he really isn't up to catching in the early part of the season, maybe we play Kelly, Parker or schuster at wing and Uate at centre

If he isn't proving effective at wing he should be out of the side in my opinion. I can't see him as a centre defensively, or with the ability to pass/set-up his winger.

Kelly has already shown in the nines he can ball play and would have no problem setting up his winger when needed. Parker is also a centre who can play on the wing (has the height we need on the wing).

I think Aquila has to hit the ground running, or he will lose his spot pretty quickly.
