The game hasn't been in such a bad way in such a long time. It is headed for a disaster. Crowds down. Participation down. Memberships down. What else do people need to see in order to get rid of this clown. I suppose the issue is that he is the boss and getting of rid of himself wouldn't even be an option for him.

I refuse to watch any games other than Manly now, when once upon I time I used to watch as many as possible. Pains me to say it but I'll watch the AFL finals series for the rest of the year. The NRL are a pathetic joke with their head in the sand.

I use to watch every single game each week too up until about 10 years ago. Since then it's slowly dropped to be now just the Manly game and maybe half of another if nothing else is on. It's just not an enjoyable sport as a whole to watch really anymore.

But didn't you watch Nrl360. Crowds are down because the coaches bag the refs, not because the refs are incompetent bumbling baffoons.

I found that hilarious. Oh and Paul K#nt saying the refs are the best the league has had.

Suppose he has to say this kind of drivel being an "Nrl Advocate". The NRL is smart in coercing the media to take certain stances on league issues. Shame they're not as smart with managing the game.

Explains why he always defends them i guess. What crap though. Game is going down hill and without realizing the problem we will never improve and move forward.

I have long wondered why coaches are required to front press conferences when they can't say what is on their minds. I suggest the NRL pre print the coaches statement and have one of their minions read it out. Makes as much sense as making them talk and then fining them for talking.
